About Us

The Yale Herald, a weekly Yale undergraduate publication, is nestled in the sweet spot between magazine and newspaper. Since 1986, the Herald has aimed to provide in-depth, analytical reporting and includes personal essays, interviews and profiles, culture articles, creative writing, reviews, humor, and feature coverage of campus and local happenings. With a circulation of over 2,000, the Herald is the second-highest circulated campus publication and is distributed free of charge throughout the Yale campus and New Haven businesses. Eric Krebs, JE ’21, and Kat Corfman, JE ’21, serve as Editors in Chief of the Herald for Spring 2020.

Spring 2020

KAT CORFMAN
ERIC KREBS
English + Creative Writing

Outside of the Herald, Kat is an Editorial Assistant at Yale University Art Gallery and an Essay and Resume Editor for IvyBridge International Education. Hailing from Florence, Alabama, Kat mastered Microsoft Word by the age of nine. If she’s not writing poetry, watercoloring, or worrying about her plants, she’s probably listening to Hiatus Kaiyote.

Anthropology + Economics

Outside of the Herald, Eric is an Editorial Assistant at the Yale Review, a columnist for the YDN, and a musician. Hailing from Queens, New York, Eric’s childhood was shaped by an addiction to the computer and the treasures that lie within. If he’s not eating Glutino bars, getting stressed over politics, or just worrying, he’s probably watching YouTube.
