Hello friends and lovers,
We hope you’re doing well. You know we are. We’re actually doing really, really well, thank you for asking. We’re newly rich—basically trust-fund babies now. We’re happily in print this week, thanks to that sweet sweet cash, and we’re here to tell you about all the amazing pieces you are about to read with those beautiful eyes of yours.
In Features, our very own Josie Steuer Ingall (Managing Editor, TD ’24) looks into the recent moves to pedestrianize High Street, and Elena Unger (Copy Editor, BR ’25) investigates the culture around tattoos at Yale. In Opinion, Jessica Liu (Features Editor, BF ’25) analyzes the various problems with Spotify besides Joe Rogan. And in Arts, Danya Blokh (YH Staff, TD ’24) discusses the future of music and the impact of late-stage capitalism through the lens of hyperpop star SOPHIE.
There’s much much more good stuff in here we promise, but you should spend your time reading them instead of reading our summaries, silly. This isn’t Sparknotes! Anyways, we love you dearly. We miss you dearly. We hope to see you again soon.
Take care,
LMFAO (Caramia and Elliot)
